Getting out to the tennis at Melbourne Park is a breeze. The location is right in the heart of the city.

Free shuttle trams

All valid Australian Open ticket holders are able to enjoy the FREE Yarra Trams shuttle services operating on route 70 from the CBD to Rod Laver Arena and Hisense Arena. The service operates until one hour after the end of play, including twilight and night sessions.

In addition to regularly scheduled Route 70 trams, Australian Open shuttle trams will run as Route 70a from Flinders Street (Stop 4 – Elizabeth Street and Stop 5 – Swanston Street) directly to Rod Laver Arena (Stop 7B) and Hisense Arena (Stop 7C).

Australian Open shuttle trams will operate at between 3 – 5 minute frequency in peak times, and regularly throughout the day in addition to regularly scheduled Route 70 services, and will operate until one hour after the end of the last match on Rod Laver Arena every night.

A low floor accessible shuttle tram to the Australian Open will run every 15 minutes from 9am to 12am daily.

Boat Taxis:
You can take a boat taxi to the tennis for about 6 Australian dollars for a one way trip.
