Made Hotel

Made Hotel combines raw-material interiors, a community ethos and a killer rooftop in the very core of the Big Apple. The 108 rooms are designed by LA-based Studio MAI to maximize space – oak platform beds provide hidden storage, walnut desks fold up to the wall, and iron racks provide a darn-good-looking shelving solution. Minimalist bathrooms feature Japanese tiling and handcarved stone sinks, while floor-to-ceiling windows look out onto NoMad’s townhouses and watertowers. The best views are up top, where tiki-style drinks are served on an Empire State-facing terrace. Seasonal veg is the pride of the New American restaurant, and the local creative set gathers at the sociable in-house coffeeshop.
