They'll be joined by top-ranked Andy Murray, who lost to Djokovic in last year's French Open final before winning Wimbledon and the gold medal at the Rio Olympics, as well as rising stars Alexander Zverev, who won the Italian Open title over Djokovic, and Dominic Thiem, who beat Nadal in the quarterfinals of the Italian Open.
The women's field is led by reigning French Open champion Garbine Muguruza, along with Simona Halep, who reached the 2014 French Open final, and Italian Open champion Elina Svitolina.
Host Ted Robinson anchors NBC's coverage, joined by analysts John McEnroe and Mary Carillo. This is Robinson's 18th French Open in the anchor chair for NBC. McEnroe and Carillo teamed to win the mixed doubles title at the 1977 French Open.
